Great article and absolutely I agree. Thanks for posting that.

Crying is just hands down one of the finest performances in pop/rock history. After listening to it for years I sat down to learn the song on guitar one day and was amazed at how odd it is. The verses are different lengths, there's not really a solid pattern at all. The most amazing part is, it sounds so natural and organic that it takes effort to see just how UNnatural it is.

Yes, thank you for posting that link. I'm a bit of a Rock 'n' Roll trivia junky. I was aware of Roy's family related tragedies, but not of his recording company contracts or album releases. I may have to seek out some of his later albums for a listen . . .
