RT-909 Repair

I am in need of a tech who can overhaul my RT-909 open reel deck. There use to be a tech in Florida whose name I believe was Haas who is suppose to be pretty good.

Hi,
you should ask Kevin Kaas in Tampa.
kaas.kevin (at) spcollege . edu
He can do best rework of your deck. But for the heads when you like to relap them, then contact John at JRF Magnetics.
After relapping is done you can go with Kevin for the rest.

I don't know if you can get new heads from Pioneer today. As I know the stock is over, but maybe I'm wrong.

I bought a set . There listed as "yes"on there parts website still. I bought mine about 3 months ago I think .

Hi there. Kevin refurbished my RT 909 back in July 08. He had it a month but did a great job making it sound like new again. He also did some kind of modification inside to improve it's performance. I paid $500. but am completely satisfied. He is the Chief Engineer at ST. Pete College and does this on the side.
