It'll be a cold day in hades before he gets $250 a pair for those ugly a$$ speakers. Looking like that, it would be better to part them out and trash the cabinets. At least other people might get theirs going again. There would be waaayyy too much work in ever getting those right again.
Just what i always wanted...a set of Mach's that look like Yorx or Soundesign cabinets. What the hell is going on with the backs? It looks like he glued packing foam to it. I cant believe he thinks they look good. :thumbsdn:

Agreed! The stock walnut veneer on these is beautiful! There was nothing tacky about it. I restored a pair and have to say, that I think they are one of the best looking pairs of speakers that I have! Radio Shack knew how to veneer back in the day!
Hey Brad! Trust me, these aren't mine!! You know how much of a perfectionist I am! I was going to cover those 4310's in some vinyl flooring squares from Home Depot.....what do you think?:scratch2:
I guess I'm in the minority thinking that they're not that bad looking at all. Looks like the guy did a decent enough job even if they aren't original. Maybe the original veneer was battle scarred from one too many keg partys. They certainly are unique and they are only radio shack speakers. On the other hand oh the horrors should he get his hands on a pair of altec 19's or even an older model klipsch.
