You have to remove the mounting flange, open it's bore to 1.4, then cut the throat off at the point where it's diameter matches the 1.4 of the flange, and weld it back together. This is how you maintain proper throat angle. You end up losing that wanky transition area which may or may not be a positive characteristic of the 511.
An MR-594 is a shorter, faster path to hifi.
Hard to know.
The 511 won't evenly disperse acoustic energy as well as the multicell does. If you have a lot of peripheral reflection points, this could be a good thing. It also won't acoustically load the driver as well as the multicell near XO.
