If you had some long rivets or even a couple machine screws you could get some other color NOS and swap out the black buttons. They come right out when it’s apart.

Edit: Decided to swap out the 1meg select resistors for 910k resistors instead to tweak the QC down a tad. Some 54 screws later they are in.

Finally had a chance to play it in the system. I’m a little surprised as it sounds better than I’d thought it would be. Will be interesting after it’s been on a while with everything new.
Sounds very nice indeed, better than I expected.
I also like the look of the green LED's I used instead of the red ones.
