SandyG status update!

I remember the 'vigil' we held for Tom B. when he took a hiatus from AK.

It was supposed to be a good natured 'roast'. It turned out to be kinda rude.

Just sayin'....maybe we should hold off on the speculation.

I hope all is well with Sandy.

Tom Brennan?

Kinda off topic, but while perusing that old thread about Tom, I noticed drkstormynight hasn't posted in two months. Anyone know anything?

Geez, we're falling like flies

I hear ya. It is always a concern when members "disappear". I "get lost" sometimes if I am on an out of town job-site, but I still keep turning up like a bad penny. I routinely live weeks at a time in a vintage Airstream trailer and have had my dog 165' in the air with me on a JLG lift (secured better than me). I hope all is well.

This is completely side - track , but JLG just built a huge factory in Mexico . They were made near me .

Bugtussle modem down?

Sandy...where art thou ?

I'm going to go completely off-topic, because I have a question for another AK member.
...and have had my dog 165' in the air with me on a JLG lift (secured better than me). I hope all is well.

Tell me something about using a JLG. The first time I ran one, I was installing tubing about 70' feet up on the side of a silo. I parked the basket up against a steel railing just to stabilize it from swaying around. It seemed like an okay thing to do, because the tires were sitting on a concrete surface. The ex-boss was furious, climbed a ladder up the silo and was yelling at me for making contact with the structure. I hadn't even smacked it, just smoothly parked it.

Is there some rule against this ? I left it that way, while I worked that morning. It's a bite to install tubing while the basket is moving around.

Good to hear it's just a computer issue keeping Sandy from AK. I can just imagine what Sandy will say when he's back on AK! :D

Sorry, Steve, but I actually never thought that it was just a computer problem since this thread here had been started. I really wish it would have been so. Our Sandy silently disappeared and this makes me sad.

It would have been a topic for my "When AK members - friends - silently disappear", but Sandy deserves his own thread for sure!!!

Is there issues more than computer ?

I'm so sorry to hear that, Chris. Hope and pray that Sandy's health is fine.
