Sansui 5000, 5000A and 5000X

What are the differences among 5000, 5000A and 5000X?

I think the 5000A was the upgrade to replace the output boards that caught on fire. I'm not so sure about the X, but I think it was mainly a cosmetic and marketing upgrade. They claimed a few more watts, etc.

5000A and also early 5000X had the bad F1040 amp boards (that can be modded to work). Many have been retrofitted with F6013 boards so its pot luck.
