Hello.
Please advice moder solid state amplifiers which can be compared by sound quality with Sansui 919 / 907 (1979 year)?
Which price range and company should I search?

Another unresolved question...how restoration of Sansui 919 with moder spare parts will influence the sound quality?
I heard different opinions:

1. Do not restore SS till it working, decause modern part will spoil sound.
2. You need to restore it.... to sound as 30 years ago =)

Will be very grateful for your suggestions.

Quality new parts should not make it sound worse - They will probably make it sound a bit different or better. Chances are that with most parts, unless they are significantly vital, you will not be able to hear the difference.

Furtheremore, if you'll be replacing dead parts with new once, well...the sonic change will be like night and day

The AU-919 has a bunch of "black flag" compensation caps that go out of spec and can cause nasty results. Replacement of those is a good idea. You might as well do the small electrolytics while in there.
