Not sure I plugged it back in must have come lose. I noticed when u turn that switch that has left right l and r and normal position. When I turn it to normal position the right channel not working but when it’s in the left right position it works on both channels? Should I be concerned? Thanks

when tone defeat is on then it works but not as loud as the left channel

looks like someone beat you to it and was diagnosing a fault .
do you have the history of it ?

no I just bought it so no history

yes i noticed that but worked it out .

first try every input . if no change deoxit the switches to rule them out .

I think I found the problem that tone control circuit board that's held in place by the lock in brackets when I move it the sound comes on, can that board be removed if yes how? do you just pull it out?

ok well it seems stable now so im not touching it, the only thing now is the right channel is slightly louder, is that a problem or should I just leave it,

yes as when I wiggle the board the sound comes and goes I will figure out how to remove it then check it out thanks for all your help
