Sansui AU-919 Black Flag Capacitors, Some help please

I finally used product called "Goo Gone" sold in Home Depot stores across US. So the remaining Sticky Waxy thing was removed. I did not yet finish re-stuffing those caps but here is what i did so far.

When i did those boards i chose thicker layer of cooper. Also the trace thickness is 8 mm. Red and blue wires are 16 gauge.

WARNING for F2841 (Flat amp) i made a mistake putting ZD01 backwards. Discovered it when was tuning the unit. Symptom was unstable dc offset for flat amp. fortunately figured that out relatively quickly
for 2835 i also Implemented Martin Kuehne modification.

Not sure if people are still following this thread, but the 919 is fully restored and was handed over to me.
I'm just writing this to thank everyone for all the help, especially, TupolevFan. The man is an incredible tech and I can't thank him enough for the restoration. If anyone in NYC is looking for someone to restore anything, talk to Tupolev, he will put his heart into it, he will tell you what he did and why he did it - won't treat you like a customer but as a friend. Very intelligent fellow, I gotta say,. TupolevFan, if you are reading this, for the 100th time, THANK YOU.

As for the 919, INCREIBLE. period. Switching from a 517 to a 919, the 919 made my small NYC apartment feel 10 times larger. Detailed, crisp, wide soundstage... everyone knows what the 919 can do...

I don't think it is cost-effective to dive into to the 919 to replace the black flags only.

Best to replace them. Doing a complete recap is a lot of work. Would doubt too many sellers would go to that effort, if they only advertised the amp as serviced.

Oh, and, if TupolevFan or any other tech is thinking about posting.. but thinks nah no one will care anyway / etc thoughts to not post, I can tell you, there are probably countless lurkers and observers who will undoubtedly find lots of value in the post.. So please post it!
