Will see if I can get measurements, but pretty sure the 919 is unique as it's a bit deeper than either the 717 or 719. Also, by my recollection, the 919 has unique openings for the heat sink "chimneys" where the older models usually had conventional vents (cheese-grater openings) across the top rearward surface.

Regarding the AU-919 'bonnet' - the top is 42.1cm (16 7/16") Wide, Depth (front to back) is 37.8cm (14 15/16") and Height is 15.2cm (5 31/32")
The rows of perforations (38mm x 2mm each) are set 10cm (4") back from the front edge, and are in 7 rows of area 37.2cm x 21.6cm (14 3/4" x 8 1/2").
Note that there are no heatsink 'chimney' holes in the bottom cover, just a similar area (in 6 rows) of 30mm x 3mm perforations.
All the above measurements are taken from my AU-919 cover.

Congrats on the purchase. I saw that one on eBay and I'm glad it went to a fellow AK'er. Looks like it has a few issues with the power. Hopefully a straightforward fix but there is a ton of info here on AK for the proper repair and care of this excellent unit. You might want to look around on Hifi Engine and see if there are any similar units on there, as they normally include the dimensions in the technical specifications. Not sure how accurate they are and they will likely include the faceplate/bezel dims but it will get you close.....good luck with your search and I hope you can get it going again.....great units!

Thanks cnyel1967. Yeah I saw the listing and just had to pull the trigger on it since it wasn't a bad price. I'm hoping to get it fully restored and so I can get a taste of magic of the Au-919 that I have been reading about. I'm currently enjoying a fully restored AU-717 now.
Well, note that the size dimensions given here were the (extreme) EXTERNAL dimensions - not the INTERNAL dimensions you would (also) need for making a case from wood.
