Sansui G 22000

Congrats! I remember seeing one for the first time, i was in awe..followed by a "holy crap!"

IF you ever do have issues, there's a bunch if us that have had various issues, and generally know the way to fixit. They are very reliable though, and rarely have any.

Another welcome to the Big G club from me as well. I'm listening to my G22000 now, FM radio too. Its a hell of a beast. Enjoy yours.

If you want to want to comment on a post, you will see the "quote" button in the bottom right corner, if you hit that, it will put that post in a quote box and then you can write your response outside the quote box.....

When you are typing your response it will show like this below...

Having owned and helped members here with various G22000/33000, they do have funny little issues that pop up, usually nothing serious....
They can have a few issues with the protection circuit....
Some of the switches and controls can get a bit intermittent and unreliable, but mostly these are things you can tackle easily yourself....
I find if its in daily use and the inputs are switched daily, and every now and then you work the controls they are very reliable....
If it ever starts to drop out on one channel or has and uneven level between left and right, it will be the "connected/separated" switch on the left hand side of the pre-amp, this is usually the first one to play up....

But hey exactly, if she is a "mint runner", absolutely enjoy it!! they are a beautiful sounding beast......
I dont know if you are into using the tuner, but the FM tuner section in this thing is one of the best I have heard, exceptional actually......Mine is used daily for high quality FM listening....

Okay thanks for the help with the quote button. The FM tuner picks up stations nicely and sounds good too. I do listen to FM every now and then. But my music collection is pretty large so I spin vinyl listen to tapes and cd's mostly. Regards Dale

Very nice receiver ! What kind of speakers are you driving with it ?

Right now I'm running a pair of usher be 718 speakers and a polk sub for a little extra bass. When I really want it loud I have a pair of bose 901series VI I can use. :thmbsp:Regards Dale
