Is it still working? I've always liked them, they sound and look very nice.
I've had my G-8700DB since 1980, It looked like this when I opened it up.
Not as bad as yours.

i've had mune since 1990,it powers on,i dont have any sound coming out,thinking bout paying to get it restored ,i jus want to clean it,jus to see if anything happens,what have you done to urs?

I've cleaned the pots (the input selector and mic input were scratchy) and blown the dust out, that's it. it's gone unused for a year or two occasionally but it's been used daily for the last couple years.

There are no more G-9000s. Spend the money. You will never regret it. You will save yourself some funds by doing the cleaning and de-bugging. In Florida there is always roach eggs in old units like yours and my SX-1250. Good luck and enjoy it once it is all back together.
