Sansui G6000 Cap list?

Hi. I am trying to find a recap list for a Sansui G6000. Does anyone have one? I really appreciate the help!

Thanks man. I just did that. Worked out fine. I do have a question you may be able to help with. Do you know what these two light grey caps are on the FM board?

One more thing. Is the little blue drip cap a tantalum? It's labeled with positive and negative side. Kinda funny looking to me.

Yeah the grey ones look like some different variant of an electro cap, probably something power supply related, I am not sure without looking at the schematic.
The blue one is a tantalum, you can leave those, or replace with Nichicon KZ if you want to.

Unless you are capable of calibrating the tuner card yourself, you may be better off leaving the tuner board alone. Calibration is reported to be very tricky and requires expensive electronic equipment and knowledge to complete. Sending a receiver out to be calibrated can also be very expensive. Keep that in mind. This is a repeat of comments given to me a long time ago on AK.

I disagree, replace all the electro caps in the tuner, no problem at all.
It wont throw the alignment off. I do the caps in the tuners and find it does not affect the alignment. Its semiconductors and resistors that affect tuner alignment...and also age which tends to have V caps and Coils drift a bit.

Coming from you KZ I would take your comment as a final opinion. This is the first time I have seen this opinion regarding the tuner and I take your comments to heart. Thanks to you for voicing your knowledge on this subject. I am just curious if this applies to the G-6000 alone or for all receivers that are facing a recap?

You can recap most tuners, I can't think of one that wouldn't be a good idea to do off hand.
Caps increase in value is they get old and eventually turn into resistors, so you need to get rid of those old electro caps.
Your tuner will most often perform better with a recap, of course aligning it will get it performing even better....
I include a tuner alignment in my receiver restorations...
