Sansui SR-838 vs. Yamaha PF 1000 - Opinions on differences?

Hi,
I have an SR 838 since last January, the TT
is in very good shape and it looks great, I bought it to be on my Sansui system and I would never exchange it for a belt one even if it was a Yamaha PF 100.
It is been a long time since I moved from idler and belt TT' s and I never regretted it, I am also running 3 other Technics, all direct drives = SL L1, SL 1210 MK II and a SL D 2 on 3 Technics system.
You already know what my opinion is!
I would also suggest that you change the Ortofon...

Hi,

i know it is an old thread, but im looking for an opinion

I do have sansui sr 838
Planning to buy rechnics sl1200 mkii, with upgraded tonearm

would that be a better choice to go for
