Sansui SR-929

[shelbygt]

My newly acquired SR-929 serial is 318040416.
Is there a way to view what you currently have? I’d be curious if mine is early or late. I have more Sansui, including speakers. Would you like those, too.

OH Yeah!.....without stealing LBPete's thunder, a couple of screenshots to guide you....there are 2 pages of SR-929 serials and yours is not listed but around the midpoint of the recorded timeline......have fun.

Follow LBPete's format for posting all your serials as in the first screenshot.

The link above sends you to the actual Sansui Serial Number Report pdf.

Hopefully that get us where we need to be. If not, let me know.

Your SR-929 was built in April of 1978. It was the 416th unit built on that line that month. We have 83 SR-929s on file in the database. The earliest ones were built in October '76 and the last ones were built around June 1978. So yours was produced towards the end of production.
