Sansui Z-9000 Quesion

Hello Guys, I have the opportunity to buy a Z-9000 Sansui that has some problems. Lightning hit near it a while back and although the lights and meters come on there is no sound from either channel? Is this work picking up?

I had bought a Marantz 2285b that was hit by lightning and it worked just played @ 100% volume.

I just about wet myself, not to meantion what the cat did.

I dont think its an X but I will check. Whats the difference?
