Sanyo TP625 anti skate missing

Now I'm confused... that's not the way I imagined that working. I imagined that the weight would be behind the horizontal post to that it could exert outward pressure on the arm. Any chance you might be able to take some measurements for me? like the approximate diameters and thicknesses of the large circular members and the length and diameter of the 2 long posts sticking out of the the bottom mechanism? A weight of the weight would be great too, if possible.
You're correct. What's shown would be anti-antiskate.... The weight should be on the other arm. There's a decent drawing on page 9 of the service manual that shows the weight in the proper position. The service and owner's manuals are available from vinylengine.com.

in fact, you need to measure the length of the two rods, the length of the screw fastening and determine the weight of the mechanism separately without a counterweight, and separately the weight of the cylindrical counterweight

hello. I found in my bins such a mechanism. the dimensions are a little different, and the mass of the counterweight needs to be adjusted. but I don't know how to send it to you from Ukraine, if it could help you.

Thank you, that is very kind of you. Don't worry, you have enough to worry about in your country now. I am sure that I can get by and I kind of look forward to the challenge of making one now!
You may not have to make one. Go the the hardware store and see if they have what's called a "set screw shaft collar". The link below has an illustration so you'll know what to look for. Get the smallest they have that will fit on the lever shaft.

Ha! I was already looking at the catalogue trying to get all the pieces. I found a set screw shaft collar that looks about right and even calculated the approx. mass to be about 2.5g.

Yes they certainly did, and apart from some cosmetic differences these arms seem the same. The motor in the Akai is the same as in the Pioneer PL-12D and Tandberg TT5000, and probably in numerous other turntables.
