Update: Last weekend, I found a Toshiba SR-305 that was being sold for $20 for parts. I noticed that it had a very similar looking anti skate set up, so I purchased it. Then, I delayed as I considered repairing the Toshiba. Finally, I decided not to fix the Toshiba as it was too far gone for my patience and ability.
So, with a minor bit of modification to the screw and spacer, I have successfully installed a mostly proper antiskate mechanism for this Sanyo TP625. I even installed a new head shell and cart.
Loving it right now!

Oh, and I also picked up a Pioneer PL-200 for $30 the same day. I cleaned and tuned it and replaced the stylus. Now I have 2 lovely turntables. All for $50 and I have some parts for later or to sell!
