Very nice! Scott made an excellent product and those are some of the most preferrred.

Where did you pick them up?

The 340B is the the older more rare version with the indicator lights, it is probably the 19 tube version with the extra tube in the tuner section.

Some persons have all the luck. Congrats! You have in your possession now 2 of the receivers that I think are the most beautiful ever produced. The 399 is my #1 in terms of beauty.

Thanks for the comments. I bought a significant accumulation of audio stuff from an estate. It's all in unrestored condition and will require many hours of attention to get running. Even if it takes years, a 399 and a 340B are good investments. The others are duplicates of units I already have or had, although these are nicer. Right now I'm just photographing and stashing them in stacks by brand. I'll be posting some pix of Fishers and Sherwoods as well soon.

Interesting...I am working on a late 340B and wondered where the lights that are shown on the schematic went! It shows them on both the early and late version schematics! Guess the one I am working on is the "late-late" version!

That receiver with the nubbies on the dials is righteous. Okay, is just slightly more righteous than the rest of it. And I wouldn't make any assumptions about its operability. I've seen enough stories on AK about gear that people thought would be a project, and the project consisted of plugging and playing. But keep us up to date if you give them the thrice over.
Major score, major domo.

If I may ask, what Fisher models did you procure in this transaction ? (and a very nice one at that)

FISHER 800C RECEIVER (2 , I think)
FISHER 500B RECEIVER
FISHER KX200 INTEGRATED AMP
fisher x-101 INTEGRATED AMP – needs a tube
FISHER 400 RECEIVER (3 of them)
Ffisher X-202-B INTEGRATED AMP
FISHER FM50B TUNER
fisher km-60 tube tuner

Hey, that H-K integrated you use as your avatar is the unit I grew up with (along with dad's ARXb, Scott 311 tuner and HKL model 6's). They're outstanding. One of the only 6L6GC integrateds I've ever owned.

I probably have the manuals to the KM-60, Fisher 400, X-202 and maybe other that I have not scanned yet but would be happy to send them to you once I do if you want them.

Looks like you found a great bunch of equipment!

Holy cow, that's a VERY nice Fisher collection too! Say, do you wanna adopt a 45 year old kid? :D
