Scroeing is not a word

[Ozo]

I see scroeing used in place of scoring here on AK but it is not really a word. Since when is scroeing a word? Is that some kind of surfer made up word, jail talk or what? It actually looks like screwing.

[BOUXY]

It might not be the proper way to write/say it but everyone gets it's meaning!

[Djcoolray]

Yah..

It's just an inside joke !

Light'n up....

[Ozo]

I think it is glimp.

[BOUXY]

You're new here, aren'cha?

A lot of stuff here is playful and or tongue and cheek -
some folks get SO DARNED SERIOUS about their audio obsessions its no longer a hobby ...

If its not fun, what really is the point, kapeach?

[njcanuck]

Over time, "Scroe" has become an AK tradition - especially appropriate when the poster is as excited as all hell.

[Cadillac Kid]

Just part of the AK vernacular. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=scroe.

[RichPA]

I suppose you think "I raccooned my woogers" is not a proper sentence, either?

No, that's spelled "skrooing".

[SiliconTi]

It is a perfectly cromulent word....

[Poinzy]

Hey, if can accept "pwned"...

[Cadillac Kid]

It is perfectly fine to say Scroe. For example: 'I just scroed some cool Miles Davis Vinyls'

2. Live and let live
3. Practice #'s 1 and 2
