Scroes You Passed on Because Quarantine?

Me? Chances are I would have been 30 seconds too late but I let them go
Kenwood KA-9100 and Sansui tuner for $100 (two hours or a ferry ride away)
Sansui 800 $20 (I loves my Sansui 800, another would be too much but too much is better than not enough)

You?

Edit to add: No bargain is worth your health and the health of your family. Stay home and listen to music and stay safe.

OK, I just tempted my anguish and checked Craigslist. Fortunately there was nothing there that I wanted. I'm afraid to look again!

Haven’t been looking- I’m too weak. If I found a good scroe I’d go out and get it.

My significant other and I are high risk- so I keep telling myself that no scroe is worth my life or her life.

But I mean, if it was good enough, I’d risk my own life... but there is no way to risk only my own life without risking her life, and that’s just not worth it.

I’m right there with you @Snow

I ended the rest of my eBay ads because I wasn’t willing to face the post office anymore - after taking 3 trips every other day, waiting in line each time, and seeing people who were obviously sick I decided it just wasn’t worth it (we’re out in the country, rural- we get mail at our house but a lot of folks don’t, which makes the post office the main gathering place next to the grocery store and the tavern).
While I could use the money, thankfully I don’t need it to survive, and I’m blessed in that.

I’m high risk- asthma, a long history of bronchitis & multiple bouts of pneumonia (docs say I won’t make it through another round), heart issues, and my significant other is immunocompromised.

I’m not afraid to die, but I’ve had lung problems my entire life- I don’t want to go out via asphyxiation. Don’t want to have to be on a machine to live. I’m already tied to my nebulizer and bipap, and that’s more than enough for me.

I haven't bothered with vintage gear very much over the past few years. But now with the virus that nasty old gear takes on a whole nother meaning. No thanks; I'll stay out of the way and let someone else have at that germ laden "scroe".

Stay safe. You might want to print your postage at home with a Zebra printer. Your USPS carrier will pick up most items and give you an acceptance scan.

Yamaha CR-1020 for $100 on LetGo. I favorited to see how long it would last. It lasted 2 days. Not the best deal ever but a couple of months ago I absolutely would have bought it just to try it out, I've never heard any of the Yamahas in this series and have always wanted to.

if I catch this I will almost certainly die

Only about 20% of people who catch it have severe reactions. Lots of people catch it and walk around not even knowing they have it. It's worse than flu, but it's not the black plague. That said, it is certainly prudent to exercise due caution, but for me as a healthcare worker if I allowed that thinking to enter my brain it would literally paralyze me.

There was a fairly attractive hooker that waved me over on the way to work the other day. She probably could be reducing her rates due to low traffic. But you never know, it could of been a transvestite, it was on K Street. That's a real drag when that happens, no pun intended.

Free pair of woofers in speaker cabinets from another AK member. More of a bad situation for him than me as he's moving and needs to get rid of stuff NOW.

You are too young for all your health issues...
Stay home for sure...

i sold a GPU on kijiji the other day
when the buyer showed ... he phoned me from his car
he got out, opened his trunk and placed a clear plastic bag with the money in his open trunk.
he then walked to the far side of my driveway
he told me to put the card in the trunk and take the bag.
we chatted for a few mins at a distance and it was done

If too nice, I'm thinking under cover op.

I bought some computer gear yesterday. Felt like a drug deal.

I like it...very methodical. You will need to quarantine that bag of cash in your garage for 48 hours... :)
