Setchell Carlson worth fixing?

Grab it! hell of a deal. That stuff is very well made. It's stereo, thats why there are 2 cabinets. Made in Minnesota.

Worth a $20 that's for sure. Setchell didn't make many hi-fi's at all. I've only seen a handful over the years.

Don't know if this can be turn into stand alone, at least all the 6BQ5 tubes tested very strong, so I can at least recover my $20.00

Crazy! Did Stromberg know that Carlson was getting a little on the side with this Setchell guy? What a tramp!

Id love to find one of those, should sound really good, actually. i just scored a Setchell carlson TV off my local craigslist. Seller says it even works, although i will replace the questionable cord and at least test the filter caps before powering it up. Its built like a tank, the top of the cabinet lifts up to work on the modules. 21" rectangular screen from the mid 50s. Even has push pull audio and a tweeter.
