Should I be running after these

Those are the prettiest pair I've seen, but the price is pretty high... they are still a pair of Heresy speakers. Not Klipsch's best effort.

Heresys can be ok with the right application. My first real speaker but they moved on eventually.Knowing what I know if I was after a pair I'm looking at $250-$300 max.

I paid $200 for a pair of Heresy II about a two years ago. Tweeters were dead, but I suspected caps, so off to Crites for caps and titanium diaphragms. I now have about $325 in them and they're great speakers. The diaphragms are essential to clean up the high end (IMO).

I was always surprised that they needed a subwoofer to get any depth out of the music. My Quartet could blow the heresies away in the bass department. I'm sure there are mods though.

This from the Klipsch website.

In 1957 Paul Klipsch had designed the Heresy speaker specifically to be a center channel between two Klipschorns. This was patterned after the teachings of Bell Laboratories of 1933. ......
