Show me your HORNS!!!

JBL Synthesis SAM1 modules. Still available from dealers. Mid and High in one composite. Used down to 750Hz in the Array 1400. Yes, the vertical orientation is different and takes time to adjust to, if at all. BUT, it sounds better that way.

I love the horns and your setup.
What model is the horn? Is that a 1" horn?
What is the tuner and amplifier?

Most of what I've toyed and DIY'ed with so far would fall under the category of waveguide as opposed to the classic horn, but here's something right up that alley I cooked up a while back. 700Hz 11-segment Tractrix petal-horns from paper, reinforced with fiberglass tape and PVA glue.

I like horns....I like really big horns, cute little horns, round horns, and all kinds of horns...So show me your horns!

Speakers: K-402/TAD TD-4002 Klipsch Jubilees (biamped), '82 Belle center (triamped), '79 Cornwall surrounds (Crites tweeters), DIY TH-SPUD horn subwoofers (behind Jubs).

Jubs dialed in in-room using REW/DEQ2496 after anechoic EQing/delay compensation in Hope, AR.

horns

These are the only horns i own nowadays. The JBL-4430s beat them all out, these are absolutely an amazing speaker system, that not many can compete with.

Looking good, Sentry 3's??

Thanks Bob. They sound really good too. :music: 1982 EV Sentry III MK II. They spent their life as studio monitors in a home studio in Northern Michigan. I've only had them for four months.

I know.... The pool table is in the way, but it's staying.

Congrats! How do you like them ? Are you using them in your home theatre?

No theater, just 2 channel!

They do require IMO a bit of eq (cut in the mid not boost) but they sound really nice and they do image very well. A lot like my diy 1400 Arrays which you can see behind them. They also have incredible low end for 2 6"ers!! :D
