First of all, the recording was one of your best! Enjoyed the heck out of this cover! Who's performing? Second, I can see why these L100's were iconic. Good to see you posting in there again, and I know for a fact others are glad too! Hellov'a nice gift you got there!

Thanks Garry! I know it’s been a while.
The band is De-Phazz. They are a German band. This year is their 25th anniversary, been into the from their early days. I have just about every track they have. Extremely fun and diverse sound, check them out.

Yep! I realized I didn’t have the matching pair (close sn numbers) in the videos. They all sound the same.
I’m really liking them, and wow they can crank! Outstanding bass, but I needed to turn down the presence and brilliance pots.
I’ll try them with the Scott tube amp, curious if that will mellow them a bit.
REALLY nice job! These Resto jobs suck me right in every time. I enjoyed this, thanks for the post!

Thanks for the compliment. BMG just started allowing Beatles posts on YouTube a couple of years ago (I guess their copyright ran out).
He's a great bassist. He and Ringo anchored that early Merseybeat sound.
The red MONO Japanese EMI-Odeon pressings are some of the best ones to look for. Finding clean, original Parlophone LPs these days is like winning the Lotto.
I'll have to try to upload a couple more early Beatles tunes.

I appreciate the background info too! I am and have always been a Beatles fan, but I've never chased the various pressings (Including the mono pressings), which, I'm told is the best of the lot. I just don't see myself at my age trying to find them either. Not that I wouldn't mind having them to be sure!. Regarding my comment about Pauls Bass. I have many of the original pressings, (Nothing of real value), but it wasn't until Giles Martin work on the albums and my current system able to enjoy and appreciate Pauls bass work as I do now, and this includes the rest of them. I paraphrase Ringo regarding GM's work "Hey, I can hear myself now!"

Yes, it gets quieter at ~9 seconds diminishing the treble. Comes and goes throughout the song. For example, goes again at ~47 seconds. Listen on good near field monitors. I don't think I'm hearing/not hearing things that are/are not there.Dunno. This is off the LP. No provider.

Do you hear the same audio quality dropoff with this Big Brother tune? It was recorded the same day, same setup.

You are hearing this on the Big Brother video, too?
It's one of the reasons I usually make multiple recordings at the same time. I didn't do this last time because of the heat. I will sit through all takes to get the best one. Any little thing can be picked up by the mics, the camera audio, or the computer transfer.
Honestly, the effort is a lot, and I'm not trying to make super high-end recordings. My studio recording skills are not top-notch. I never intended them to be comparable to a pro. Nor is my equipment.
I think it's best to just quit for now. At least posting on this forum.

Two different albums doing the same thing? Sounds like "compression" to me and you can hear it "ramp" over a couple seconds. Perhaps the host? Maybe you had a setting on that day?Part of the LP, I guess. I'll try uploading another EMI-Odeon Beatles pressing one day.
