Sansui SE-9 Compu-Equalizer.
Came with a calibrated microphone to adjust the spectrum analyzer for a flat response, in each room with white noise. Once set it up, it automatically adjusts all levels individually. It's cool watching the levels move up and down by itself.

I think to count as a true equalizer it needs to be a complete separate component with at least seven bands per channel
Wow! So many super cool systems.But what about that Schiit thing that has just 4 bands? Folks talk of that thing as an "equalizer.." I was really just kidding though as I realize that bass, midrange and treble controls aren't quite enough to be considered and equalizer, though I'm fine with just that level of adjustment.



BTW: There was a cassette deck shipped and been sitting in my house for over 4 months till I open the box. I don't remember buying it. I thought it was a nice looking deck like yours but I sent it back to shipper anyways.Sansui SE-9 Compu-Equalizer.
