That 707 is such a handsome beasty. What a nice build quality.
A good friend and of mine has one that is all pimped out. I was privileged enough to listen to it in a few occasions and it sounded glorious.

Been having lots of fun with my newest Biotracer. Smiling as I post pic's, I see a rather large dust collection next to the tonearm rest....nice clean job on my end.
Regardless, this is one sweet sounding, simple to use automatic.

Got that same WM-AF59. If you are playing a tape and hit the button to reverse the tape just right, it'll flip the heads, but keep playing the tape in the same direction. So, whatever's being played winds up being backward. No, haven't heard any satanic messages.

CDP-X339ES has arrived. Seems to be working normally. Seller said that it wouldn't play older discs. Playing a Dead Can Dance CD that we've owned since the late '90s.
Since we're talking about Sony car audio... One of the XS-3051 speakers from my 1982 Volvo 242 Turbo. Grille is from an XS-3029 speaker, since I got the 3051s without grilles.

Yeah I wish they still had parts for them like wood panels and replacement lasers just in case. Even the feet and remotes are hard to find as I am still looking for the Sony RM S806 remote. I found the E80 preamp quicker than the remote.

Yeah but so hard to find, I just feel I will never locate one.
I was looking for the RM-177D remote for my Sony TA-E77ES preamp, so I added it (and the more complicated Sony RM-E7 for the TA-E77ESD preamp) to my saved searches on eBay USA and finally got an email alert about one on eBay Germany for the RM-177D. It wasn't cheap, but some of the harder-to-find stuff can be found on the German eBay. The Germans seem to be big fans of Sony stuff. I checked the eBay.de site and it's not there, but it might be a good idea to add it to saved searches on the U.S. eBay and see if it pops up. That is if you use eBay.
Prior to finding this remote, I used the remote to my STR-GX10ES receiver, a big remote. However, this remote only has one Tape control which I use for the cassette deck. The remote for the TA-77ES has two tape input buttons, as well as Aux. It comes in handy when I'm using Tape 3 for my Reel to Reel, leaving the Aux to connect for streaming.

Thanks for the tip Paper, I have it added in ebay.de, US and CA also on Market place. Like I said this is the hardest thing to find all other collections of my Sony ES components were rather easy. I even got the Sony TC-WR97ES deck for free as it came in damaged and a refund was issued and he did not want the item back so I had it repaired.

It took me almost 2 years, but I recently finished the complete restoration of my Japanese 100V Sony TA-N7B (labeled TA-N7) which I bought on Yahoo Auctions in 2018. It was a gamble when I bought it and it looked like it spent some years on a Japanese sea bottom 
Even worse: it came with 5 out of 12 V-Fet's dead.
It took me some time to gather working V-Fet's with the right pinch off voltage rank by buying broken TA-4650's (also risky). But in the end I managed to gather 6 V-Fet's with rank 5 (all 12 OG's were rank 5) and 6 V-Fet's with rank 7. So one channel is rank 5 and the other is rank 7.
Even after complete restoration this TA-N7B looked to be haunted. Very strange intermitted bias and DC offset behavior. In the end it turned out to be wonky SV04S stabistors which are used for temperature tracking and to compensate bias current based on temperature of the output cascode BJT's.

Sony TTS-8000 Direct drive with Resinamic Sound base and custom made arm plate in order to accomodate the very long Victor UA-7082 tonearm.
Sony APM-33W's with custom crossover filters from Sound Oddity / Osuka Audio:

Very beautiful amp, I am enjoying how they are making today's products that can no longer compete with the vintage equipment at all as they just make vintage look more now like pieces of art.
I have a new project coming up as I just bought this Pioneer SX-1250 that is going to be expensive but well worth it. I am sure I will soon sell it once it is done but here are some pics of the receiver, and it's not here yet but excited...
