Slogan Game!

" a sound company"

well I'll start answering now, and see if any new ones come up... "...we threw it away!" was RCA.

"Everything you hear is true" - NHT

How about making it easier...I'll give you some answers--then you match to the slogans already listed.

SONIQUE

After Hock Your Pants, you can see this thread is not worried about being picky! Products or brands or whatever seems interesting...

So! A new entry added, and Technics turns from red to blue on the list... :thmbsp:

"No, your Blueness!"
"Your mother was a hampster, and your father smelled of elderberries!"

Technics! :D

Ok, here's my addition: "It's mother was a turntable, it's father was a computer." (So it's for a product, not for a brand, sorry.)

Wasn't that the Accutronic? It was the table that could lift the stack of records back up again to play the songs in any order.

The only reason I remember this is that I just posted about this in the "worst equipment" thread a few weeks ago.

Nope, but you were right with the "Accu...".

Accutrack? I sold these things thirty-something years ago. :D

P.S. I'm trying not to cheat with Google.

Why not use your search engine to find slogans for others to guess? We might list 100 that way! :D

"Everything you hear is true" is in fact Pioneer. It was even a cheesy radio jingle:
Everything you hear is trooooo, and we want the word to get to yooooo

Going to add some links to the Slogans List... Here's a good one:

VINTAGE VACUUM TUBE ADVERTISING

I don't understand Modular 4 or if Super Track & High Track were the answers...?

This one is for Vintage Car Audio!
Is that OK?
"Hear The Light" __________

"Studio Standard" _________

"High Tech Meets Hi-Fi" __________

Well, "Studio Standard" was a line of Fisher gear from the '70s... after Avery Fisher left and they went downhill. How the mighty fell... Anyway, is that what you were going for?

Studio Standard was used extensively in their advertising, so that makes sense. Plus I really like my RS-1080 Studio Standard 72-lb monster. :music:

Car audio? Why not, Dupont is on the list already...

Heh heh; how about clean is beautiful if it's LOUD!
