I just searched "Sony SS-F 60" and found some decent info with regards to manufacture date, specs etc what in addition to that are you looking for?

I undertand this thread is old but I think my impressions may be useful to someone who might be looking for the buying these.
They are good in terms of tonality. Quite neutral, detailed on top and spacious. However one must right in the middle to have these. If you look at the shape of these, you can see that the outer baffle edges of both speakers (speakers have marking Left and right) are raised. This creates kind of a shadow to the outer walls in terms of dispersion. Good thing about these are they sound still great kept next to a wall to the sides and front wall as they are sealed.
They need to be toed in even though the side wall reflections are less. With 30 degree toe in, they have a holographic soundstage with very precise imaging. Midrange is transparent, and treble has the air, but to me may be bit rolled off. It’s damn easy to listen to these for hours. The woofers are dual voice coils and need hell lot of power to move them. Also efficiency is very poor that without proper power they sound very thin with midbass.
I drove them with Sony 890es back when I had them and with Sony es amps, even lower models they sound amazing. I think these were made with those amps in mind. However I didn’t find any problems in mating them with an Atoll IN 100, Arcam A39 and some other British integrated amps.
