Does anyone know how to fix the meter lights in a Sony Str V7. Thanks

From just looking at a picture of the unit, from the internet, with the top cover removed it appears as though there is a panel that is connected by three screws to the back of that plastic housing that covers all three meters? Looks like you might have to remove each of those three screws, and gently pry off that small assembly board that holds the bulbs in order to replace them? Or maybe to gain access to each bulb to replacement them?
I suggest that you try and get a Service Manual for more detailed description.
EDIT: upon further review of another close up picture (again off the internet) it appears as though it could be that the entire white/yellowish plastic housing for the bulbs may have to be removed in order to gain access to the bulbs? Look at each end of that plastic housing, there should be a screw holding each side, attaching it to the inside frame? There could be two screws on each side, one on top, one on bottom? I really can't tell since the picture that I am looking at is kinda blurred and only shows the screws on top? Anyway you just might have to remove that entire assembly on order to replace the bulbs?

It is 3 screws and when I took the panel off I noticed 3 bulbs. I noticed they are hardwired in. Not as easy as replacing a fuse bulb. I hate to screw this up the receiver is in great condition and sounds wonderful.

It's one of those not that easy switch on the bulbs kinda of things. Well then it looks like you are going to have to de-solder the bulbs and re-solder new ones? Do all the bulbs glass look blackish in discolor? Do all look the same?
How many bulbs does that assembly have....2, 3, 4..?
Are you sure that all the bulbs are out or is it just one or two?
Also it could be that the assembly panel could be bad as well causing the bulbs to go out and the entire panel with bulbs needs to be replaced? Did you check the wiring as well? Maybe a loose connection, etc.?

Going to check wiring for loose connection. I do find it hard to believe that all three lights are out at the same time. Who knows one may go out they all go out. Thanks for the help

I didn't know this had fuses I've been looking for them but don't see any.

Just an old fart trying to help.
OK, just googled your receiver. Can't see any fuses from the top, no pics of the bottom.
It's an old school model so I'd GUESS any fuses MIGHT be on the bottom of the circuit board(S), accessable by removing the bottom cover of the receiver.
I bought an old school receiver (MCS 3125) last fall, all the dial lights were out, one bulb was tin foil from end to end. Anyways, it was a blown fuse. On the bottom of the receiver.

Before I take it off would that fuse you think would only go to the 3 meter lights because the light to the radio works

Just seems weird all 3 meter lights would go out at the same time.

The best way to know for sure if a fuse is involved with the bulbs/lights is by a schematic, that is if you can find one to download. But as Overload has already indicated more than likely a fuse is not the problem. It appears as though the problem lies within the wiring (short, loose wire, connections, etc.) or the bulbs just need to be replaced or something on the board that the bulbs are connected to or the entire board may need to be replaced? If you do get a schematic the bulbs are probably connected in series so if the first goes out the other two will also. First option carefully check all wiring going to that specific board and lights. Second option, start off by replacing each bulb with new ones and see if that solves your problem. If the the first two options work great, if not then check or replace the board, will be your third option.
So far those appear to be your options.

I replaced the 3 lights and were up and running even soldered for the first time. Thanks for all your help again.
