Guys, this indeed is a different STR-GX10ES in IDENTICAL condition. This one has the box the other one didn't. Just want to nip any misunderstandings in the bud. :yes: Cheers!

I've seen three STR-GX10ES's come through eBay in the last two weeks. One with box and remote sold for around $250 and the other two went a little lower. Don't know why I didn't pull the trigger. All deals, IMO.

Hey, I was only temporarily crazy! :arrow:

Truth be told, the receiver does sound great, with an impressive tuner section. I was on the hunt for a solid 2 channel receiver like the impressive offerings from the 70s and very early 80s, but remote control was a must. Short list! That newer Outlaw stereo model was also high on my list.

Although I may not keep it forever, I'd do it all over again for the $500 Leroy is asking for that other unit.

I've been waiting for a local unit to show up for about $300.00. Those e-Bay auctions Sam mentioned instill hope. I'm also waiting for a NAD 7600.
