Soundscraftsmen RP 2215R equalizer

HELP!!

I'm looking for instructions on how to operate the Zero Gain controls on the Soundcraftsmen RP 2215R equalizer. Thanks in advance.

Adjust them so the leds for each channel are the same brightness, then the unit has unity gain, i.e. supposively if 1 volt in, then 1 volt out. It does work.
