Speaker ID anyone?

Came out of a smaller fairfax pair found on road. I understand they used off the shelf drivers - cone is 6", 7" including the cloth surround.

1 1/2ish" voice coil and has some serious excursion. Thanks in advance!

A different to me design as the magnet is inside the voice coil - Im gathering from the design why the voice coil is larger than I expected and why the excursion is so huge(easily 3/4+ inches by hand) as it cant bottom out.

Is there a name for this design? Been in pro audio/av field for 27 years but much newer to hifi
