Well, i love the cabinets. Mine are now loaded with Oaktron 16ohm full range drivers and Coral 16 ohm aluminum dome compression tweeters coming in around 10khz.
The thread you linked to shows later more refined versions, better woofer, much more and better network. Other members here have these same versions as mine were, and you have pictured but with the later driver and crossover load, they also have ports.
I don't know a lot about Aztecs per se`. I can just tell you that mine were early versions with all oxford brand drivers, no ports, just triangular shaped cutouts, no significant network, just 2 caps and a resistor stapled to the rear of the baffle. They would have made good garage speakers, but were quickly tiring for any kind of serious listening. One mid horn was about 6db less sensitive than the other so i had no problem gutting them for a project.
If those have this driver load, don't spend much on them with the intent of listening to them, but if they have the better woofer and actual crossovers they have a lot more merit.
The cabinets are fairly well made, the grill and baffle both remove from the rear of the cabinet, kinda a PITA, but the walnut they used on the early boxes is beautiful and they are very project worthy if you're so inclined.
