Speaker ID Please

Can anyone tell me what speakers these are, I haven't seen them in person and have no info. Thanks for any help.

I found out that these are 30 inches tall.

that's using a pretty broad brush as there are lots of good speakers that fall into that description...

But, you're showing us actual driver frames, not chinsy plastic "additions", and there are VERY FEW speakers that fall under that description.

It doesn't look like chrome to me in the picture. What caught my eye was the shape of the cabnet and the wood looked old. I thought they looked like some EPI's or some thing I've seen before. Still can't get ahold of the owner to settle what they are.

Magnavox?

I once looked at a pair of Magnavox speakers owned by a good friend who asked me for my thoughts about them. My thoughts were not good.

The grilles of his speakers were the same shape as those shown here, and silver painted outlines around each speaker hole in the grille backing was obviously to imitate the design of what Magnavox considered "proper" TOTL design.

Marketing 101?

I learned the hard way, bought a lot of crap speakers that looked cool and passed on a lot of great speakers that looked like crap. Trying to save others now

- Marantz made several models with grills that came to a point in the middle like that. Really the grill is the only reason i would think they might be worth a look.
