Speaker to Amp Output - noob

Hiya

I was wondering what was the best way to decide the output of a Speaker that I intend to purchase for a Valve amplifier.
So if the tube was rated at 15w would I buy a speaker of 10W or 15W or 20W?

I would be more concerned about speaker efficiency than I would maximum rated power consumption. You're going to want to look at speakers with efficiency AT LEAST 90db/w/m with 15W of power from a valve amp IMO. Speakers with horns are probably going to be a good way to go.

Ditto that. Look at the Karma E-wave thread. Find yourself some surplus cabinets and +95dB woofers and BUILD your own.
