Speaker Wire ID

I bought some advents and these wires were hooked up to them. Anyone here recognize the maker??

Can't help with the ID and I like Advent's, owned multiple sets in days gone by but that braided wire would have interested me more than the speakers. Last year I also found speakers, and they may very well have been Advent's, in a thrift store, with Kimber 4PR on each box. I disconnected the lengths, took them to the counter and was charged $2. Dissimilar sizes - 11ft and 15ft but decent enough. Looks like you got more than that.

I actually have 2 pairs of these cables. Each set in 20' in length. I found some markings saying Made in Japan??

I don't know but I got hits and the fist thing was braided wire. They also sell 1000s of other parts, your pants have GD or DG on them.

Also don’t see my logo on any of GD parts speaker wires.

I could be wrong but, home made is a good guess as all the parts can be bought, and they really don't have much of a name brand. And we know how cabling needs to be branded, less flashy back in the day thou. But even so I'v found old speaker cables that where no to flashy and ID them with very little if they where factory made.

Yeah well they have other colors, but anyway you can buy braided wire from many places. I just put forth what I seen using GD or DG and that logo could be for who ever made the pants.

They look like Discwasher “Smog lifter” cables . I thought the logo looked familiar. Never owned any but I recalled that Discwasher sold cables at one point including phono interconnects. Do a search and you’ll find a couple images.
