Speaker ID help please

[Copa1934]

Spotted these advents in an ad with no other info. Anyone recognize them? Seller says they stand 2.5-3' tall, roughly.

Received an email from the owner confirming they are Prodigy's. Any thoughts on these, i.e. do they live up to the Advent reputation or just bargain box speakers? I have Advent1's now, so how would they compare?

Prodigy (and Legacy) Advents are Jensen made. No comparison, really, to your 1970s Advent 1s, but not bad speakers by any means.

I would concur on the 'not bad... by any means' sentiment (FWIW).

Definitely prodigies, pecan tops and bottoms. Be careful not to over tighten the screws holding the tweets in; the corners are often snapped off because of over tightening. They are surprising for their size, but the bass is sort of loose if they have the factory dampening.

The dual-woofer Prodigy is, IMHO, one of the best Jensen-built Advent models. Great bottom end, good balance, good cabinet construction.

IMHO, it's not quite up to the level of an original Large Advent or Smaller Advent or Maestro. It will out-perform any of the other classic Advent models, IMHO.
