Agreed on the Advents and Infinity cabs not being wrecked.
Some folk may not have the $$$ to replace drivers that are scarce or expensive but do value the enclosures.
That being said some choices throughout this thread are beyond reasoning.

Anyone ever use that RS dome mid, or it's tweeter of the same series....they seem to be of good quality?

I’d buy that tweet and that mid and their 8” woofers for retrofitting terrible but okay cabinet cheapies like the form grilled Alsmegros. They were not fabulous but were modern drivers with decent sound in the early-mid 80’s when I was only flush with RS driver money. Better than what I removed for sure.
