Speechless.

I have nothing to say, don't want to upgrade anything, don't care if my cables sound pants, don't have any questions about turn table isolation or tape hiss, don't want to discuss inner groove distortion because there isn't any, don't want to hear the difference between sand and lead shot in my speaker stands, this dac , that dac what cartridge, records sound better than CD's or do they, everything is fine.

I might be needing a new hobby.

All be it with only one finger, my typing skills really are nothing to write home about.
Its a right b'stard when I make a spelling mistake as I have to look at the keyboard to type and only look at the screen when im done typing.

LOL, good post, though initially I didn't think so...
but it made me think:

Great, you're happy with the sound. Listen to the music; that's your hobby. But is listening to music really a hobby? For me, it is because I'm not able-bodied. Getting out collecting music is a hobby, in some ways collecting it online may be, too, again especially for those like me. Collecting gear, tinkering, refinishing, renovating, perfecting listening spaces - those are more the doing type of hobby. For active people the journey may be the hobby; for me, it's more like the destination is the hobby, ie, listening. Eh?

The program will put little red lines under your misspelled words. Left click on them, and you will get the correct spelling. Pigs have a tough time typing also, due to the cloven hooves. I use a young duct taped duck as a stylus to depress the keys....I use the hunt and peck method also.

Damnit! I didn't even know about the 'left click' thing! I've been reaching for my Little Giant Webster Dictionary (circa1943).:sigh:
AND, I thought the chickens did the hunt and peck.

I need to pay better attention...

Yeah but it is US Spelling, which isn't English. :smoke:

Actually I guess its a right click, depending on how your mouse is set up. Let us just say the alternate mouse button....

Yeah but it is US Spelling, which isn't English. :smoke:

Whoever said it was English? I said misspellings. I would say that if you use Chrome, IE, or Firefox....you accept the US spellings by default. Unless you find a way to change it. :D

I do. I adhere to the spelling of that country that has a border with Scotland.

Well you certainly can do that. We gave up that being a colony thing a long time ago.

Well the US does maintain the use of a system of units derived from the British Imperial System of measurement. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imperial_units ). Alongside such luminary nations as Liberia and Myanmar The US resists the Global Standard of the Metric System(admittedly your Dollar is metric). Eventually you'll catch-up with the rest of the planet. Maybe you'll learn English while you're at it. :thmbsp:

Yup! The real difference is that when "God Save The Queen" is played we Americans make a decision whether to rise of not. True colonials don't think you just rise.:D

Your right, we use what we prefer. And we are fine with that. Interesting how that list of equipment in your signature is almost exclusively American... not a single British or English piece.

I'd say you are on your way to a healthy recovery. Sit back and listen to the music. There is nothing wrong with not fiddling with everything.
