Springtime Hudson Valley NY/NJ get together - Saturday April 12, 2014

You've made it irresistible! So the Gimp will be there.
NJCanuck (Rich) is coming with me; I'm even getting General Grant out for his first breath of sunshine since being put to bed last fall.
He is an 87 560SEL land cruiser-seats 5 comfortably.
If anybody else wants to cruise up with us from the rt206 Flanders area, PM me.

Here's my hope for a good time to be had by all:

Seems to me that this is going to be one hell of a GTG :thmbsp:...I'd better bring lots of cash. lol

Planning to bring a flea-watt SET set-up to play.....

Some Turntable (Dual 506 or Thorens TD-124) / Boozehound Phono Pre / Some CDP / Homebrew Darling Amp (3/4 watt per chanel - thats 750mw, yo) and pair of University 6201 OB speaks...

Hope some other tube-heads attend!

Also - See the BT For sale / Swap / Trade thread for possible goodies YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO LIVE WITHOUT!

Don't have room to bring many toys. Could bring a Maggie flea-watt SEP to compare and a T-amp for fun. No room for speaks, tho.

Put a scope and audio gen up on the BT thread.

Question re electric

Thank you again for making this event possible. I assume an extension with multiple outlets woild be a smart idea. How long would an extension cable need to be?...I have a 17' audiophile extention from signal cable that I was going to bring ...would that be enough or should I resort to a lower grade but longer extention...?:music:,

I have found bringing enuf accessories to be mostly self-sufficient, cords, etc works best, so yeah, I would pack ext. Cords.

Google maps says it's 3 hours and 40 minutes one way. I'm going to keep a wet finger up in the air and see what the family climate is like.
