Thanks, it still needs the side panels done again with real Wood this time.

It works nice, the KR-7200 kept cutting out on left channel, needs cleaning.

I have the predecessor, STA-2000. Love mine. Amazingly every thing works including lamps. My go to system for my Mach One's. All of them. ;-)

Realistic made some beautfull recievers back in the day and yours is no exception! I had their STA-90 that looked great too. It sounded as good as it looked with the Mach One speakers it came with for $599 in canada in 1976. I still have, and use my STA-7 10 wpc Reciever they sold with the Minimus 7 speakers in 79. It has a switchable EQ circut calibrated for those speakers that makes them sound like decent bookshelf speakers much larger and even makes bass in a small room with those 7" high speakers. I'm surprised how detailed the HF are from this little reciever with the EQ off driving my energy C1 bookshelves in my bedroom. They even make a 12v version of the STA-7 Reciever for a boat or RV...how cool is that!

This photo takes me back to the day of walking into RS and other audio stores or audio sections and smelling the "new stereo smell." I don't know what it was, but they all had a certain smell about them. Must have been one of the materials they ALL used. Whatever it was, it was AWESOME!
