Stacked speakers, multiple amps question

Took your advice and added the Speakon's and listening now to the Crown power both pairs and yes, it's more elegant looking, and it sounds very nice. Those connectors had a bit of a learning curve but finally figured it all out. Thanks for the advice. Now I just gotta figure out to do with all the spare amps ;)
Cool! You're welcome.

I've driven double New Advents a Crown XLS1500 used in the garage system. Nice midrange and cool running.

I recently picked up 2 sets of JBL L100's . Listening to 1 set I was very happy but I kept thinking how would both sets would sound . Jury is still out. Playing with placement . So far it's not giving me much more sound over 1 set. It's noticible but I thought it would be more dramatic . Haven't stacked yet. . I remember stacking large advents and playing with 2 receivers and I liking the sound.

In my case the 3's and 3a's offer slightly different sonic signatures, yet enough so the combination of the 2 provides a different, and more powerful presentation then the individual pairs. I'm still not sure if I prefer using one amp(Crown) over the 2 (HK Citation 22/Adcom GFA 5400) to power the 2. Plus when using 2 separate amps I'm able to easily switch between the 2 individual options, so more listening flexibility, and the ability to use more of my stuff might be the deciding factor.

The 3's are actually upside down, so tweeter to tweeter with Allison One's. A1's being driven by a McIntosh MC2105, 3's by a MC2120.

Yeah, it sounds ok.
