Steps to replace bulbs in a C-26 Preamp?

Ok I have the knobs off and unit out of the wooden case.

What is best way to replace the bulbs in a c-26?

I replaced mine without removing the front glass, just take the top and bottom covers off and you can easily reach the bulbs. Here’s a top picture:
