Once upon a time there was a fine AKer tech in the KC area . For reasons unclear he left us. ( no he didn't pass). Good luck in your search

Yes.. I checked with them and he told me 5 month backlog .. I understand that there is/will be a wait for quality work but i hope not that long. Thank you for the recomendation tho. Because they have great reviews . Really hope to have my spec 1 and 4 back in working condition before the end of the year. I am hoping that echowars will get to the email i sent and be in touch in the meantime.So if you have contact with him.. .. give him a nudge my way.

I use Audiomart. The other one is Electronics Center. I prefer Audiomart as I was not satisfied with the work that I had done at EC. Both in Overland Park.

I gave Electronic Center a Cyrus amp to fix, which another place had tried unsuccessfully (twice!) to fix. They did fix it, but something was lacking, and I ended up doing my first recap. No, I was not really happy with the job, and it was NOT cheap...but they did fix it.
