Stoner Rock playlist

Back in the day me and a friend were sitting in his backyard listening to speakers that he put in his bedroom window. The moon was out, and we were pretty high. He was playing Pink Floyd, King Crimson and then to shake things up, Mott the Hoople. All these years later I remember how good that sounded.

I kind of lost track of this thread since the search function went down. Been busy, too. A few weeks ago, I happened across a fairly new Mammoth Volume album, so that goes along with Dozer and Lowrider's recent newer efforts. Pretty cool.

Nice! And nice find too as I was unaware they recorded again after 20 years. It wasn't until the chorus where I could clearly hear the MV sound. Very cool. I eventually will check out the new Dozer as well.

For the first time ever, I purchased some stoner rock on vinyl. I have some CDs from back in the late '90s and early '00s, but I lost track of the genre after that until recently. This thread is one of the big reasons I'm back into it. So I picked up these four albums and I still have Stoner's Totally... coming in the mail. I've only listened to the Mammoth Volume so far and the songs are awesome. I'm really impressed with these compositions. I most liked their album called A Single Book of Songs back in the day and this easily rivals, if not surpasses it, in my opinion. I always liked this band.
