Stylus microscope recommendations?

I got this one from Ebay Digital Microscope its not like a real miscroscop like Needlestien uses but here are some pics I took.
I also bought two lights to shine onto the sides of the specimen under inspection as the lights in the scope just illuminate from the top. To inspect styli you need side lighting to
show the facet cuts and wear patterns. here are some pics I took last night. I just got it yesterday.

That looks like a pretty handy scope for $59.00.

Its not bad but not great either. More of a toy but it served its purpose for me. But eventually I want to get something with more power and
better optics.

But it is serving its purpose for now.

Thanks @needlestein ,
To hold my carts and styli I made a block ( shaped like your foam one ) out of blue-tack.
I was thinking of making a rotating stage out of a 2 inch lazy susan bearing and some 1/8 inch aluminum plate. I figured I could mark graduations with a sharpie. That would be nice and thin. My BL scope is fairly limited on travel.

Cool and thanks for sharing.
You just rotate by hand until you are seeing the reflecting surfaces?

Nice! I have a shure stylus microscope that is useless. Maybe it could be set up with a jig. I don' think I have a stylus with 100 hours on it, maybe an n75 I've had for 30 years. Must have saved it for a good reason, can't remember.
