If you’re serious about that particular subwoofer, you won’t have to assume anything. I suggest that you locate and download the SVS subwoofer control app to your phone. I run two SVS SB-4000 subs, and find the app to be highly comprehensive. It allows all of the various parameters to be adjusted from your listening position, which greatly facilitates getting everything dialed in to your satisfaction.
