Allrighty Form, Fully restored Sanusi Au -7900& Yamaha PX2 with Yamaha MC-1X cartridge Does this need the "DO-DAD" To make this sound awesome. You'll know what I'm talking about. Input is appreciated.

Yep you need a DoDad and the cart is real nice!!

I got it LOMC cart.
You need a SUT or an MC phono stage.
I don't actually know for sure but think 7900 only has MM phono stage.

Yes, only MM. Hence my initial response.

IMO, investing in an SUT makes good sense for a vinyl lover. A 1:10 would work, but 1:20 would be better - for this cartridge. An SUT with both is a handy thing to have. Good MC stages are harder to do than good MM stages, which are hard enough.
